![]() ![]() Music: The score is decent and fitting, nothing more to add. A very positive vibe emanates from the characters in general.Īnimation: Animation is still as decent as the First season, so really nothing much to add here. Also, there is a lot progression in relationships of other characters.Ĭharacter: A few new characters are introduced, and they are interesting in their own way. So if you liked the first season, and felt invested, this season should be a nice reward for you. Plot: The plot moves forward from the first season with a definite end in mind. That said, it is a very light-hearted and enjoyable anime. Did you know that there's a "Spoiler Warning" tag? I'm going to click "Yes" just to be polite but to be honest there's nothing worth spoiling about in these 4 episodes so far.Ĭonsidering the impeccable marriage rates of Japan, Tonikawa is, to put it mildly, how on earth did it happen, and how on heaven is it still popular kind of an anomaly. I've never written a review before but I'm doing it with this one because it is so frustrating to watch. Is this Season 2, or an extended OVA? I'm not even sure anymore. Any issues/conflict identified in Season 1 are completely absent in Season 2. That season 1 actually exists, but unfortunately S1 isn't not relevant at all so far. Not to mention that 3/4 of the episodes have included recap of how they first met, as to remind you that there is actually some backstory covered in season 1. Maybe it'll come later in the anime, but 4 episodes in and they haven't moved from their small house? With no plot development? Watching this feels like an excruciating waste of time, hoping that ANYTHING would happen. But, 4 episodes in, there is absolutely none of that. I want to watch an anime where Tsukasa is doing that stuff. It feels even worse because the opening animation shows Tsukasa living through several time periods and eras, wearing different garbs. Maybe some might find this anime sweet, but if you're enjoying this I imagine it's you're just trying to live vicariously through Nasa. It's like watching a highschool boy's fantasy of living it large with their crush. ![]() Unless you enjoy watching a married (highschool-aged) couple doing married couple things with literally nothing on the line, no tension, no actual story, then there's not much point in watching this.
